Millie and the Impossible Battle Chapter 3

Well the Minotaur Didn't Like the Tea

"What the hell is that?!" I screamed as we ran and hid behind a new set of closed doors. "That, my dear, is a minotaur. He smells you and well, look at that he's here." She said as she slowly started opening the door to peak inside. "What are you doing? He'll see us!" I whispered to her. "Well we can't run from him, so we must make a plan of attack." She peeked inside once more. "Ah HA!" She quietly exclaimed. "I just remembered Minotaurs don't like tea! If we can figure out a way to use the tea, we can surely beat him. Dousing him with it may send him back to hell where he belongs. Pipes you must be the one to fight him." "WAIT, you're sending me in there when I have never even seen or heard of this creature to fight him, when you're the Goddess of the hunt?! You can't be serious." "Sorry hon, this isn't an ordinary Minotaur. This is THE minotaur. The minotaur that Zeus sends to make sure that the god or goddess is indeed who they say they are. This of course wouldn't have happened if I didn't have to hide you away and you not know of who you are. So ya, you gotta fight him. All you need to do is get the tea to touch his face. He is notorious for not liking tea after the Boston tea party incident," I looked at her confused, "Another story for another time. He will melt if you pour or splash it on his face. Warning you he has a very hot headed temper, don't allow him to affect you." She whispered. "Now get out there and prove I wasn't wrong." She opened the door and quickly pushed me through it and closed the door.
There he was. Standing there, a huge beast with the torso of a man, legs of a horse, and the head of a bull, sniffing and going through every drawer in the desk. He sniffed and looked up to me. He huffed and puffed, his face got red and he growled. I just stood there, scared to death but trying not to allow him to see it but he could smell it. He could smell my fear and he loved it. Like a little kid in a candy store who just saw his most favorite candy in the world, he ran for me. I had to think on my feet and quickly I jumped out of the room. I scanned the room, where was the tea pot? I thought to myself and quickly found it. I looked back at the beast and found he had got his horns stuck in the wall and I sighed. I ran for the tea pot and quickly grabbed it. By the time I had grabbed it, the minotaur managed to free itself. Hey at least he gave me extra time, right? Well he screamed, a scream that made one want to pee his pants. He huffed and ran toward me. I immediately opened the lid and when he got close enough, did exactly as I was asked. He screamed in pain as the boiling, hot delicious tea hit his bull face. He stumbled back and screamed, tearing at his face in agony. I hated seeing things in pain but I wasn't about to get myself killed on account of having a big heart. He screamed one last time and fell face first on the floor and disappeared.
"Well he obviously did not like the tea, although it was quite good." I said to myself.
